GROWTH AS AN ARTIST, GROWTH AS A PERSON
Today we talk about growth. As a writer, a director, an editor, producer, an all around artist and person. Traveling through life we start as curious children, eager to learn and grow as quickly as possible. Continuously we say, when I grow up…and then we eventually do.
In adulthood, the curiosity stops for most people. Eyes are shut and the growth comes to a halt. There is no more no more looking to the future of - when I grow up. We feel as though we’re already there, so what more can there be?
We’re not there. You’re not there. There’s always room for growth. There’s always room to be better.
Learning and growing never stops in life and we want to be receptive to that. If we don’t fail and learn from our mistakes, we’ll never make any progress. In our goals, our dreams or our society.
In this short message, I leave you with this.
Be better today than yesterday. Open your eyes, be honest with yourselves, see your mistakes and grow from them.
